This is one of my loves - the Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Extreme Ultra Firming Creme Compact Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 (mouthful!). I use it during the winter as it doesn't migrate to my dry patches so it's perfect. This is so smooth and blendable. But this post isn't an ode to the product, it's a lament to when the heck will I finish it!!!

Honestly, if I did a real project 10 pan project, it would be years before I bought anything else. Plus, if I even tried, I would crack within a week out of some sort of misplaced rebellion and go on the make-up binge of a lifetime! So... my mini solution was/is to finish one foundation before I can buy another. I have my eye on the Chanel Perfection Lumiere and I need it NOW having run out at the end of the summer. But this dang EL foundation won't end. I thought that it was going to be a cinch now that I have hit pan, but it's been weeks and I am still moving along... slowly. I'm using it almost every single day. Is it true that hitting pan only means you are 50% of the way through?
BANG HEAD ON TABLE!

| Definite progress, but when will it end?? |
OK, end of mini-rant. What about you, what's driving you crazy as it turns into a never-ending bottomless pit?
Stay blessed and thanks for visiting.

My rant? When I buy eye shadows, I want to have enough brushes/sponges for each color. When I make this statment to my daughter, she advises me that most ladies have their own set of brushes and don't ever use the cheap ones supplied with the eye shadow. I am NOT most ladies!
ReplyDeleteI think she's right, but I haven't bothered with those either:( I know we are not most ladies Janet, but maybe it's time we tried something new???
